The universe is a vast and diversified place. The more that science discovers about it, the more universe appears to be governed by set properties. Science believes that there is a strong probability that life may exist elsewhere in the universe, but until it can be verified, refuses to state it as fact. The set rules that science does know of should be all that is required to state unequivocally that if life does exist on other worlds, even though there may be life forms that we are unaware of, the majority will be very similar to those found on Earth. The same creatures that have roamed this planet are sure to have roamed other planets with similar climatic and environmental conditions. It is probable that the “source” of life did not disperse life throughout the universe selectively.
| Before our ancestors were placed here, they lived freely throughout the universe. We are the direct descendants, and distant relatives, of extraterrestrials that still do. We shared all the rights, responsibilities and technologies of those societies. But, at some point in the last 100,000 years, a mutagen (a physical or chemical agent that changes the genetic material) caused a genetic flaw, and tiny pockets of deviant Cro-magnoids (our ancestors) began to exhibit insanity and criminal behavior. The pockets quickly reproduced and spread throughout the universe. Existing institutional and penal consequences were overwhelmed. For every criminal or mentally ill person removed from intergalactic civilization, two more were born. Finding a workable humane solution had become a necessity. In the end the decision was made that, for the good of all, testing would be done to identify and isolate those who possessed the errant genetic code. |

Our ancestors were selected because that code was hidden in their Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). Many argued that it was unfair to punish those who had done no wrong, other than to have been born into a certain family. Despite considerable protest, entire generations of deviant Cro-magnon “races” from a multitude of planets, were identified and quarantined. Intergalactic conferences were arranged to decide their fate. Debates were intense and lagged on for years. Ideas ranged from extermination to exile. The final vote was taken, with exile as the choice. A suitable planet was needed, one that would serve as a prison planet.
The conditions of exile were:
1) no memory of former lives
2) no tools or technology
3) a hospitable planet far from intergalactic civilization
4) no contact or interference in development
5) periodic monitoring and assessment
The reasoning for these conditions was to prevent any possibility of escape. It was assumed that without memory of their former abilities, the incarcerated would revert to a primal state within a few generations, or be destroyed by the Neanderthrals, effectively solving the problem either way. The desirable location for the prison planet would be so distant from intergalactic society that it would prevent any interference that could trigger technological development. Monitoring and assessment was scheduled to determine our progress (or destruction). It was agreed that, should the incarcerated's descendants regain their former abilities and the mutant gene become extinct, they would be re-integrated back into interstellar society.
Scouts reported an ideal planet circling the star Sol beyond the Andromeda galaxy. A massive interstellar transport fleet was assembled (of what are known as UFOs), our ancestors were loaded and the long trip toward our destiny on the prison planet Earth began.
